Francis has worked in a number of sectors, including airports, buildings, consumer electronics, defence, industrial and land transport.

Francis has a Master of Engineering Management and Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland.

Professional background

Francis is an Associate at Beca, a leading professional services firm in the Asia Pacific region. With core competencies in programme/project management, business performance and systems engineering, Francis has successfully managed a number of acquisition and simulation training projects for Defence clients, and business improvement programmes in the Airport and Land Transport sectors. Prior to joining Beca, Francis worked for a consumer electronics company as a software engineer.
